How to Fix A Broken Quest ("Finala's Contempt")????

Hi Y'All,

I got Finala to fix the broken elevator in the Kithraya (sp??) Valley
cavern, then kicked her out of the party and used Deru (with which
character I'd started with)...now I can't activate this damned
Secondary Quest no matter what, even if I have Finala in the party
again, and have her selected! WTF????

TIA for any advice -- short of starting over!

Ah, turns out that this is a known bug
(http://garage.gaspowered.com/?q=book/print/62) and the elevator
shouldn't be used more than 3 times!

Luckily, the matter was addressed with Patch 2.2, apparently.

Ah, turns out that this is a known bug
